About the Role
You will own the biggest strategic partnership levers in the business, taking global responsibility for relationships that can step-change growth or margin. You'll work closely with local market GMs to unlock this growth, driving strategy and commercial execution in equal measure. You'll open new distribution channels and build moats for the business through strategic commercial partnerships. Expect to negotiate high-value, complex deals, often as the most senior sponsor in the room, while guiding GMs on strategy and deal positioning. You'll be trusted with high-context, high-stakes strategic thinking that shapes the direction of the company.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience across investment banking, consulting, private equity, or a similar BD/Corp dev function of a hypergrowth business servicing large regulated enterprises
- Strategic mindset to turn business drivers into partnership theses and commercial models
- Elite negotiation experience and passion for negotiating commercial deals
- Numerical fluency to internalise P&L levers and do real time mental math
- Ability to move quickly while dealing with large enterprises
- Proven ability to lead teams across legal/compliance, finance and tax, commercial stakeholders, data and engineering
- Ambition to visualise the pathway to becoming the world's leading preventative healthcare company
Responsibilities
- Own the development of the partnerships strategy
- Create new partnership models and source, pitch and execute the best partners in each category
- Own and win new global relationships with C-suite and SVP-level supplier, insurer, government and pharmaceutical partners
- Source, pitch and execute new partnerships at senior level
- Create new commercial models and legal structures across multiple jurisdictions
- Negotiate partnerships on behalf of Eucalyptus
- Guide GMs on strategy and positioning to close deals
- Own whether a partnership is value accretive to the GM's market and the broader group
- Perform real time calculations of the impact of different deal structures during negotiations
